Baymax, the short series consisting of 6 episodes starring the robot from Big Hero 6 came out today. The show has Baymax going around helping the residents of San Fransokiyo with their medical problems.
In episode 3, Baymax helps a 12 year old girl Sofia who gets her first period during school. He walks into a store to buy pads and asks for help from customers. One of the people who helps him is a trans man who is there buying pads for himself. (video above)

Later in the episode, Baymax talks to Sofia about how periods are nothing to be ashamed about and having her period doesn’t mean she has to grow up all of a sudden.

In episode 4, Baymax treats a food truck owner Mbita who sells fish soup who has suddenly developed a fish allergy. Apart from giving him a shot for his allergic reaction, Baymax helps him be courageous about cooking something other than fish soup (which has family has done for generations) which in turn gives him the courage to ask out the cute apple vendor Yukio at the farmer’s market.

Baymax has been trending all day, and conservatives are losing their mind as expected, the show is also getting a lot of praise from people who are not nutjobs.
It’s six 8-10 minutes long episodes and can easily be watched in one sitting. I highly recommend them.
