Movies Delays and Release Dates Round-Up

— Variety (@Variety) January 21, 2021Several films today recieved new release dates and/or have been finally added to the release calendar:
- Tom Hanks and Miguel Sapochnik's sci-fi film Bios moves from April 16 to August 13.
- Keri Russell and Jeese Plemon's Antlers, scheduled for February 19 before being pulled off the schedule last month, will now drop on October 29.
- Rebecca Hall's horror film The Night House, picked up at last year's Sundance and undated since, now gets a July 16 release.
- Jessica Chastain and Andrew Garfield's Tammy Faye Baker biopic, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, will be released on September 24.
- Guillermo del Toro's Nightmare Alley drops December 3.
Most films above come from Searchlight, which has still yet to re-add The French Dispatch back on the calendar. The film is likely to debut at Cannes this year after being unable to do so last year. Cannes is expected to delay its normal May timeline to July.
More delays are expected in the coming days and weeks.
